Chicken & Andouille Gumbo
This is the best gumbo I've tried in my life! It's bursting with flavor and was perfection both times I've been to kjun.

KJUN Fried Chicken
This was the fried chicken of my dreams---crunchy, juicy, well-seasoned and not greasy at all. The sides were great, and the honey was a perfect complement to the chicken. The chicken really didn't need a thing!

Wow. This place is amazing. We had fried chicken, shrimp, oysters -- all fantastic. May have loved the green tomato kimchi the most. (Though the ice cream sandwich was a close second). What a special place -- can't wait to go back.
Fried Chicken Set
Lunch sets at Kjun are an amazing deal! For $20 I got a piece of perfectly juicy fried chicken, an adorable mini cornbread with a jalapeno baked info it, and a cup of the most incredible gumbo I've ever tried.
KJUN Fried Chicken
I cannot remember enjoying a fried chicken dish as much as I enjoyed this one! Will definitely be back to try more of the incredible food here.
Soy-Marinated Eggs & Cracklin'
We've tried a few different dishes (all being excellent) but the soy marinaded eggs were on another level. The combination of textures with the cracklin on top - soft and crisp- was orgasmic and something I will return often for.
Seafood Jjajangmyun
Tucked away in Murray Hill, with maybe 20 seats, this Korean Cajun mash up was a highlight of our trip! We had the boudin balls, the gumbo with okra kimchi, and the seafood with noodles in fermented black bean sauce- delish! Chef knows what she's doing and mixes her Korean heritage with New Orleans training! Delicious!!

This kimchi, but really all of your kimchis, redefined what kimchi can be.
